Directional well in 30 days

At Kondakovskoye oilfield operated by Zarubezhneft JSC, the construction of well No. 58G was completed in 30 days, that is 5 days ahead of the planned deadlines, which is a record for this project. The directional drilling service was provided by PetroTool company, and geosteering support was carried out by engineering supervision of Geonaft company experts with application of Geonaft software. The digital Geonaft solution allows determining the stratigraphic location of the well while drilling, as well as predicting a change in the structure of the formation, which allows achieving a 100% net to gross ratio and place the entire wellbore in the productive reservoir. Zarubezhneft company plans to drill 4 more wells applying these advanced technologies.
